As Unger announced the dpa, the decision was made on May 1. She did not say whether and how her client would legally act against the judgment in Denmark. The lawyer told the newspaper: “My client, Ms. Block, is deeply shaken. The decision of the Danish court is bare mockery and also sends a wrong signal to the people not to have to follow the courts.”

According to “Abendblatt”, the court also found in its judgment that there was no “alienation” of the children, but it was the wish of Klara and Theodor to live with their father, which was due to the circumstances in the mother’s household.

Christina Block’s lawyer contradicts

The lawyer contradicts this: “At the beginning of January 2024, the son did not want to get away from his mother, clinging to her – what several people observed, including lawyers – months later, while the son was in care of the father, the son claims the opposite. This is estrangement par excellence! This has already determined several people and institutions in Germany.”

The alleged kidnapping of the children from Denmark on the night of January 1, 2024 had made headlines nationwide. On February 19, 2024, the Hamburg Higher Regional Court decided that German courts were no longer responsible. The children now have their solidified center of life in Denmark. The mother then had to let her children go back to Denmark.
