Stevie Wonder celebrated his Met Gala premiere at over 70. The legendary musician appeared together with his family.

At over 70 he celebrated his Met Gala premiere: The musician Stevie Wonder (74) visited the famous fashion event in the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York for the first time on Monday (May 5). Together with his family, the Motown legend ran in a suit with a glittering cloak with a long train over the Red Carpet.

“I’m just here and I am very happy to celebrate black designers and their ability to consistently create style since the beginning of time,” said Stevie Wonder on the sidelines of the event.

The Met Gala takes place every year on the first Monday in May in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Miller’s book “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity”, clothing, paintings or photographs are shown.

He was accompanied to the MET GALA by his wife Tomeka Robyn Bracy and his son Kailand Morris (23), both of whom were also dressed in black outfits with glittering elements. The 23-year-old comes from Wonders marriage to the fashion designer Kai Millard Morris, with whom the singer was married from 2001 to 2015. With her he has another son, 19-year-old Mandla Kadjay Stevland Morris.

Wonder has a total of nine children with five women. He has been married to his today’s wife Tomeka Robyn Bracy since 2017. Together they have two daughters.
