King Charles III.: Second day of the coronation celebrated with ocean film

The portrait of the king, painted by Peter Kuhfeld, shows the monarch in the throne room of the St. James Palace in his naval uniform and the state robe, which he wore when he moved into the Westminster Abbey for the coronation in 2023. Kuhfeld has known the king for decades and once painted the prince William and Harry when they were still young boys.

The queen’s portrait was painted by Paul S. Benney and shows her in her silk dress by Bruce Oldfield with silver and golden flower embroidery, which she wore during the crowning glory.
