“Therapy lesson” and “Space for Gaga” is the weekly podcast “mixed hack” for makers Felix Lobrecht. The comedian and his buddy Tommi Schmitt want to continue at least until 2027.
The “Mixed Hack” podcaster Tommi Schmitt and Felix Lobrecht (both 36) extend their contract and extend their format. “In the 300th episode, the two hosts announce the extension of their cooperation with Spotify-and at least until the format’s ten-year anniversary in 2027,” it said on Wednesday.
The duo is currently in the eighth year. There is a video variant exclusively on Spotify. The audio version is available on all common platforms. From 2026, Spotify promised “more content for fans”: “Instead of 39, 40 episodes will appear in the future and 12 special consequences per year. The summer break is no longer available from 2026.”
One of the most successful talk podcasts on Spotify worldwide
Spotify also explained that “mixed hack” was one of the most successful talk podcasts on Spotify worldwide.
Schmitt said according to the announcement: “I am very happy that Felix and the podcast” mixed hack “remain a constant in my life.” Lobrecht was also quoted: “For me, hack is weekly therapy sessions, valve, room for gaga, loudly thinking, laughing, interaction with the fans and above all a weekly exchange with a friend.”
The Spotify audio streaming service from Sweden currently has 678 million monthly active users and 268 million subscribers worldwide.
