Patrice Aminati once again gives insights into her fight against cancer. In an interview with the weekly newspaper, the wife of TV presenter Daniel Aminati explains that she is “in palliative care”. “Cancer stage 4, no longer curable,” said the 30-year-old.

Aminati has been fighting a malignant melanoma, better known as black skin cancer for around two years. In the meantime, several metastases have been discovered. In conversation, she reports about everyday life with the illness: “I swallow 21 tablets every day. As many as necessary, as few as possible. My day begins and ends with you.”

She is not afraid of death. She thinks a lot more about the people who will leave her behind – above all her little daughter, who was born shortly before the diagnosis and will be three years old in August. At the same time, these fears served as a motivation: “I tried not to indulge in the diagnosis, but to bite back into life.”

The serious illness has fundamentally changed its view of life, said Aminati. “The feeling of freedom and carefree was taken away from me.” Surfaces have become unimportant, instead they now ask themselves fundamental questions about the priorities in their life. After years of self -doubt, she finally feels gratitude for her body – after all, he endured a lot and “worn it up to here.” She added: “When the body was over, I was most grateful for him.”

Dreams despite incurable diagnosis

Despite the devastating diagnosis, Patrice Aminati does not give up and hopes for progress in cancer research: “I hope that a medication will come onto the market that will replace the many tablets and give me more time.” Together with her husband Daniel Daniel, she dreams of a second child, although the medication currently makes pregnancy impossible. “Even if we don’t get a second child: I don’t want to resign now, at 30, at least I want to have hoped.”

The couple, who has been married since 2022, wants to say yes again. “I would like to marry a second time on April 27, 2027, our wedding day and Patricia’s birthday and renew our vows,” revealed Daniel Aminati.
