After Liam Payne’s death – his son receives millions
The One Direction singer fell from the balcony of his room on the third floor of a hotel in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires at the age of 31. According to the public prosecutor, forensic doctors consider it likely that he passed out while trying to climb over the balcony railing. An autopsy has proven alcohol and cocaine in large quantities, it said.
Payne was cast on a show for Boyband One Direction in 2010, with which he celebrated great success. When the band took a break in 2017, he started a less successful solo career. With the success and the spotlight, Payne struggled up his entire career. In many interviews, he spoke openly about depression and anxiety, because of which he was in therapy. Shortly before his death, his condition had apparently worsened, some media reported.
Payne’s death triggered great dismay with his fans and former band.
