Heavy stroke of fate for Brad Arnold: The front man of 3 Doors Down suffers from kidney cancer in the final stage at the age of 46.

Brad Arnold (46), the frontman of 3 Doors Down, shared a shocking diagnosis with the fans of the US rock band. In a video that Arnold, he announced that he had kidney cancer in the fourth stage, i.e. in the final stage. Accordingly, the cancer is already sprinkling into its lungs.

The shock message comes exactly a week before the band wanted to start their long-planned America tour with the first concert on May 15 in Daytona Beach. In the same video, in which Arnold announced his cancer diagnosis, he now announced with a heavy heart that the tour had to be.

Star has only recently known

Arnold has apparently only recently known how bad health is. So he explains in the clip that he felt badly a few weeks ago. When it was not better after several days, he went to the hospital, where the bad news had to be brought to him.

However, the musician was not afraid, as he also claims in the video. His belief in God gives him hope. Just like the numerous fans: “Thank you for all the memories so far. I think ‘it’s not my time’ is really my song. This will be a hard fight, so we need our prayers! Thank you all for you all the best fans of the world. We love you all!”

How are the chances of survival?

According to Arnold’s statement, the tumor is a clear cell kidney carcinoma. The 5-year survival in smaller tumors of this type is between 50 and 69 percent. In the case of larger and long -term tumors, this forecast falls significantly – to around 10 percent.

One of the biggest hits of the Volume 3 Doors Down founded in 1996 is the worldwide success “Kryptonite” from 2000. The musicians finally caused a sensation because they had appeared during Donald Trump’s inauguration.
