Sylvie Meis with a surprising confession

Moderator Sylvie Meis talks about her sexual fantasies in the “Playboy” interview, manners in men and Marlene Dietrich.

Sylvie Meis (47) does not make a leaf out of his mouth. In the current interview with the “Playboy” magazine, the moderator and entrepreneur talks about intimate fantasies and surprises with unusual mind games. The ex-wife of ex-footballer Rafael van der Vaart (42) was particularly impressed by an experiment: “I have a day as a man? Then I would definitely have sex with a woman,” she explains in an interview.

The native Dutch woman continues: “Yes, and I would want to feel whether and how you are treated differently as a man. Of course I hope that I am the male version of myself. But dressed like a real dandy. Then I would look at how people react. I think this idea is great,” says Sylvie Meis in the German edition of the “Playboy”.

What Sylvie Meis appreciates to men and Marlene Dietrich

Above all, the moderator appreciates good manners on men. A man should definitely be a gentleman – and show that he has manners. This means that the man appreciated her as a lady, Meis reveals to the men’s magazine.

In a current campaign for a casino she plays her idol Marlene Dietrich. The film star has impressed Meis since childhood because she was far ahead of her time. In particular, she finds the open bisexuality of the film icon admirable: “She was a pioneer with her publicly made bisexuality. She was a self -confident, uncompromising woman who courageously went her way. I find everything on her admirable, her way, her legendary style,” enthuses Meis.

Defining moment after cancer

In June 2009, Sylvie Meis announced that she had breast cancer. The tumor was surgically removed, then she made a supportive chemotherapy, as a result of which she failed. In 2010 she took part in the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance”. The most formative moment of her TV career also occurred. “That was certainly the moment when I took the wig after my cancer treatment at ‘Let’s Dance’ and for the very first time I showed the public with my very, very short hair,” she says of the very personal moment. From 2011 to 2017 she then moderated the TV show together with Daniel Hartwich (46).

The Juni edition of the “Playboy” with the full interview by Sylvie Meis will be released on May 8, 2025.
