Country Music Awards: Ella Langley gets most prices

Ella Langley is a newcomer to the country scene and immediately gets the most prices at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The 60th award was celebrated.
Country singer Ella Langley (26) cleared most trophies at the awarding of the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM). The newcomer at the ACM awards had been nominated eight times straight away. She won five trophies, including the “new artist of the year” and for the single of the year with her hit “You Look Like You Love Me”, her joint song with country singer Riley Green.
The top price as “entertainer of the year” went to Lainey Wilson. She prevailed in the top division against Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen. Wilson also won the “Artist of the Year” division, best album (“Whirlwind”) and songwriter of the year.
Chris Stapleton was named artist of the year. The Texan Cody Johnson won the trophy for the best song with “Dirt Cheap”.
The awards from the US Academy for Country Music in Texas Frisco were awarded-for the 60th time this year. Country legend Reba Mcentire was on stage as the 18th time as a host. Numerous stars from the country and pop scene appeared, including Blake Shelton, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and the Backstreet Boys.
