Gangster rapper Xatar dies surprisingly at the age of 43. Friends and colleagues mourn social media for the gangster rap legend.
Rapper Xatar surprisingly died at the age of 43 ,. The gangster rapper, who was called a bourgeois Gewar Hajabi, died from Thursday to Friday. The circumstances are still unclear. The Cologne public prosecutor is also said to have confirmed the death of the musician and entrepreneur.
The first postings on the death of the rapper can already be seen on Instagram. So his former colleague and close girlfriend, Marina Buzunashvilli, posted a photo with the rapper in black and white and wrote: “Until we see each other again”. His musician colleague Farid Bang (38) also posted a picture of Xatar in his Instagram story, but without comment.
Fler calls Xatar “one of the largest in this country”
Rapper Fler also started on Friday and wrote: “A true German rap legend has gone from us” and further: “For me, Xatar was one of the largest in this country. Which rapper could embody so much style, aesthetics, real hip-hop and gangster attitude …?”
Xatar had an eventful life that was filmed after the autobiographical novel “Alles or Nix” by the rapper in Fatih Akins (51) film “Rheingold”. In addition to his own music career, he had run several of his own labels and founded his own shisha bar and a snack bar as an entrepreneur.
Xatar also gained national fame through his criminal energies: in 2009 he attacked a gold transporter with three accomplices dressed as police officers and tax investigators and fled into Iraq. After his arrest and deportation to Germany, he was sentenced to eight years in prison, of which he was for about five years.
The Iranian native leaves his wife Farvah and according to “Bild” five children together.
