“Now it starts again”: Christian Lindner has reported back to social media with a casual statement.
Christian Lindner (46) has returned to his followers with a video statement. The former finance minister presented a short clip online on Thursday (May 8th), in which he shows himself in a casual outfit on a walk in the forest to talk about how he continues professionally.
Family is in the foreground “every day and every night”
In a white shirt and black knitting vest dressed, he walks surrounded by a forest surrounded by a forest. “For some time there was peace. Now it starts again,” explains Lindner. He has recently received many questions how he was doing and what he is planning. “At the moment, of course, the family is in the foreground, every day and every night.”
Professionally, he is currently enjoying a new freedom. “I have been passionate about politics for a long time, but politics has something to do with external determination and always working with it. Now I have a completely different freedom, also a completely different feeling, also of personal ones,” said the FDP politician, who has recently become a father.
“Many new, exciting and surprising doors open in such a life situation,” Lindner explains. At this point he asked himself what he wanted. Only then did he make decisions. On Instagram he wanted to continue to share and discuss his thoughts and opinions – “no longer from the perspective of a politician, but from my new role”.
He has been dad for a few weeks
Four weeks ago, Lindner and his wife Franca Lehfeldt (35) announced the birth of her first child. “We are overjoyed and feel great gratitude that we are now a family”, on which a baby hand can be seen.
