Chart success for Pink Floyd with “Pompeii” new edition

The band’s legendary concert film was made more than 50 years ago – without an audience and in the ancient amphitheater of Pompeii. A new edition is well received.
The British rock band Pink Floyd stormed the top of the German album charts with a new version of a legendary music film. “Pink Floyd at Pompeii-McMlxxii” is a new edition of the classic from 1972 and her eighth number one album, as GfK Entertainment announced on Friday.
Pink Floyd was founded in 1965 in London, the music film “Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii” was shot in 1971 without an audience in the ancient amphitheater of Pompeji. With albums like “The Dark Side of the Moon”, “Wish You Were here” and “The Wall”, the band wrote music history.
Giovanni Zarrella in third place on the album charts
The subsequent ranks of the album charts: rapper Pashanim improves with “Grüneawubelflow” from 52 to two. Giovanni Zarrella ends up in third place with his new album “Universo”. Audio88 reaches fourth place with “bad words”. The winners of the Swedish heavy metal band Ghost (“Skeletá”) slide to eleventh place.
Rapper Pashanim is now at the top in the single charts. Together with Ceren, he is in first place with the song “Shabab (e) s in the VIP”. The song tells of a club night in which the two Berlin rappers with their friends are in the VIP area and smoke cannabis. The rapper Jaceek, who comes from Aachen, follows in second place with “Akon”.
