Stephen Dürr of “Unter us” maintains with his own ejaculate

Right at the start of “Struggle of Reality Stars”, Stephen Dürr makes headlines with an unusual nursing routine. In the first episode of the new season, the 50-year-old, who once became known to a wide audience by the soap “under us”, led to a look: his skin care is based on a substance that could hardly be more intimate-his own ejaculate.

“I was asked on the show why I look so young,” says Dürr in an interview with RTL. The answer came promptly-and without shame: “I do something that is relatively widespread, at least in my cosmos. A therapy to keep the skin young. It is a own sperm therapy.” A statement that not only caused a conversation in reality TV.

Dürr describes the procedure soberly and factually: “rub your own sperm on the facial skin, that gives a lot of moisture, lots of protein, and then you can in the end like a mask.” For him it is a form of self -care – and by no means a sexual ritual: “It has to be your own stuff,” he emphasizes. “It is nothing sexualized, but something scientific, medical or cosmetic.”

Other celebrities such as Simone Ballack have already heard that they experimented with salmon sperm for beauty. Salmon sperm, more precisely the Lachs-DNA (PDRN) contained therein, is estimated in skin care for its cell regenerating, moisturizing and antioxidant properties. It should smooth the skin, make it appear fresher and support natural healing – especially after aesthetic treatments.

But what does science say about own sperm? Dermatologist Kamilla Derichs confirms to RTL that sperm contains “minerals, vitamins, moisture and also spermidine” – the latter known for its cell -protecting effect. But she also makes it clear: “Spermidine has to be taken as a capsule and not apply to the skin.”
