“On the way of improvement”: Jan Ullrich shares picture from a hospital bed

On Friday, the reporting Germans shocked sports enthusiasts that the only German tour-de-france winner Jan Ullrich (51) so far was involved in a serious bike accident. If he was approached by a car during the training near his place of residence, a broken collarbone suffered, among other things. Now Ullrich has. Jan Ullrich is one of the greatest German cyclists of all time. In 1997 he was the only German to win the Tour de France. He also won the gold medal in individual time trial at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and became world champion a total of twice.
