Oli.p’s-Abrau Pauline: Back to life after your brain tumor surgery
Pauline Petszokat, wife of Oli.p., fights with the consequences of her brain tumor surgery. With her husband at her side, however, she found the way back to life.
Five years ago, Pauline Petszokat, 37, the wife of the singer Oli.p, 46, had to undergo a complicated brain operation. She still lives with the consequences today, explains. “I know that it will accompany me all my life,” said Petszocat about her brain tumor.
The tumor was discovered in 2007, and it started to grow in 2019 and had to be operated on. However, he already pressed her optic nerve and the movement center, which is why the tissue could not completely remove the tissue. “There is still a residual tumor,” reports the 37-year-old. The uncertainty therefore remains a constant companion. She has to go to the MRI every six months.

Pauline Petszokat also carried out physical consequences of the procedure. She is now an epileptic and has to live with “a few nerve damage”. Nevertheless, she decided not to give up and “now found a good way to deal with it”. Part of this path is her studies in “sustainable management”, which she occupies in the second semester and absolutely wants to complete with the Bachelor: “I do not want to be determined by this illness or the tumor.”

For husband Oli.p, this time was of course also challenging. “It was the dominant topic for many years and I am glad that Pauline got her life back,” said the former “GZSZ” actor in the conversation. Above all, he sees his own role in being a reliable support and giving his wife to the fact that her love will not suffer from the disease: “Before that, that was 100 percent, in the meantime at 100 percent and is still 100 percent.” Pauline Petszokat therefore never doubted the relationship, as she emphasized – she always knew that he was “the positive part on the side”.

Oliver Petszokat and the former figure skater have been married since 2014. Previously, they were a couple for five years, three of them off the public. The musician has already dedicated several songs to his wife and always raves openly about his love. “I am the way I am through Pauline. I am happy through Pauline.
