Ex-defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg and his former wife Stephanie are officially divorced. The couple’s lawyer, Christian Schertz, confirmed to the German Press Agency that the divorce date of his clients took place on April 28th in Kulmbach, Bavarian. The separation was publicly confirmed in September 2023. The “picture” had previously reported about it.
At the end of April, Guttenberg had made his relationship with the new Minister of Economic Affairs Katherina Reich (CDU) public. There had been speculation about a relationship before. Many are likely to see the new glamor couple in federal politics in the two.
Guttenberg withdrew from politics after a plagiarism affair in 2011, the 53-year-old has been a consultant and entrepreneur for years. He also works as a co-producer and moderator of documentaries and other journalistic formats. In autumn 2023 he also published a book entitled “3 seconds – notes from the present”.
