On August 5, 2021, son Emilio had a quad accident in Portugal on August 5, 2021. Since then, Ballack has been reminiscent of him again and again – about his birthday, but also on the day of death.

“The Lion” star Dagmar Wöhrl also knows what it is like to lose a child. She also deals openly with the loss. On July 1, 2001, her twelve -year -old son Emanuel died in a tragic accident, he fell from the roof of the family home.

On Mother’s Day, which she started with the words: “I sit at my desk and think of my two sons. I wear some in my heart, the other is part of my life, even if the way between us is often difficult. Both belong to me.”

She was a lot in her life, such as lawyer, politician and entrepreneur. “But nothing was ever so deep, as demanding, as important as being a mother. Not because it was always beautiful. But because it changed everything.” As a mother there is no break, no right or wrong, no recipe. “Only this deep feeling that remains. Even when it hurts.”
