The siblings are a heart and a soul in music, but that is not always the case in everyday life, says Tynna.
At the German ESC hope ABOR and Tynna crashes, but the magic of music doesn’t bother. “Of course we sometimes argue,” said Tynna (24) at a press appearance in Basel, where she fights for victory at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) on Saturday. “We are very different characters. But we never argue about the music, we have a very similar taste – that makes the magic.”
The siblings from Vienna compete with the techno pop song “Baller”. She sings, he plays cello. They are not particularly nervous, both say. Abor’s personal favorites among the 37 participating countries: “Greece, Austria, Great Britain and Norway.” For Austria, countertenor JJ, who is one of the top favorites in betting agencies, mostly competes behind Sweden with the funny sauna song “Bara Bada Bastu”.
While JJ has to fight for a place in the final on Thursday in the second semi -finals, Abor and Tynna, as a representative of one of the great countries in the European Radio Union (EBU), which organizes the competition, are set for the final.
