In love with wife Daniella Pick

Quentin Tarantino is a guest of honor in Cannes this year. He appeared with his wife for the opening evening – and showed himself very in love.

As if they were freshly in love: star director Quentin Tarantino (62) visited the opening evening of the Film Festival in Cannes on Tuesday. At his side, his wife Daniella Pick (41) shone. The couple was unusually exuberant in a close hug on the red carpet at the premiere of the French opening film “Partir and Jour” (German title: “Raus out of the province”) by director Amélie Bonnin.

Both adhered to the given dress code with their outfits: Cannes-Hehrgost Tarantino wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt and fly, while his wife had chosen a floor-length evening dress decorated with glittering applications. In the course of the film festival, the 62-year-old will moderate a tribute to the late Western director George Sherman (1908-1991).

Tarantino has been married to Israeli singer Daniella Pick since 2018. They got to know each other in 2009 when Tarantino advertised his cult film “Inglourious Basterds” in Israel. The couple has two children together, a five -year -old son named Leo and a two -year -old daughter, whose name is not known. Tarantino lives with his family in his part-time election home of Israel.

Family has the top priority

It is not the first film festival this year in which Tarantino participates. In January he was a guest at the Sundance Film Festival in the US state of Utah to talk about his career and the next film to the film critic Elvis Mitchell, who should become the last of his career as a director. At Sundance, his first film “Reservoir Dogs” celebrated its premiere in 1992.

In 2019, Quentin Tarantino’s last film “Once Upon A Time … in Hollywood” was founded in the cinemas. Since then, his priorities have shifted: away from work to his family. “When I’m in America, I write,” the commuter revealed. “And when I’m in Israel? Then I’m an Abba, which means father.”

Because of the children, Quentin Tarantino is waiting with the start of his last film. “The idea of going on a trip if you are still too young to understand it is not tempting for me,” he said. He wants to wait until his son is at least six years old. “In this way he will know what is going on, he will be there and it will be a memory for the rest of his life.” However, his daughter is “a genius”, she already understands “what’s going on”.
