Michelle and Barack Obama: They often argue about it in the bedroom

Michelle Obama (61) once again spoke from the sewing box of her marriage to Barack Obama (63). In that she spoke about a recurring topic in the bedroom: the temperature.

So she told that she likes to sleep on cool sheets and at 20 degrees – while her husband prefers to warm it up: “It’s a fight with my partner, because he is always cold and I say: ‘Touch [den Thermostat] not.’ … Sometimes I wake up in the heat, then I wake him up: ‘Did you touch the thermostat? You have touched it, right? ‘”In the meantime, her husband was already afraid of the thermostat” and would answer: “I didn’t touch it, I swear.” If her partner was cold at night, she would advise him to “just put on a few socks”.

Obama also revealed what a normal evening looks like with the couple. So she likes to eat around 6:30 p.m., get up to date with her husband and enjoy some time together before “thinks about going to bed around 8 p.m.”. The former first lady doesn’t seem to have sleep problems either: “My head only has to touch the pillow.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Obama tells that she and her daughters Barack Obama would tease “mercilessly”. Teasing itself is her language of love, she explained. She continued: “If we are all together, he has no chance. I tell him: ‘When I tire you, it’s like a love clap.'” The other way around, he is forbidden to make fun of his wife. “I can tease it, but he doesn’t.”

Michelle had recently commented elsewhere about the persistent rumors about a marriage crisis. At the beginning of the month, she said in the “Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett” podcast that everyone would know if there were actually problems between the two, since they were “not a martyr” and would solve their “problems in public”.

The Obamas have been married since 1992. In 1998 the daughter Malia was born, in 2001 daughter Sasha followed. The family lived in the White House between 2009 and 2017.
