Eva Longoria in Cannes: An evening with two glittering looks

On Wednesday, the (probably) last part of the “Mission: Impossible” series celebrated its premiere at the film festival in Cannes. Before that, the women present attracted their eyes on the red carpet: above all Eva Longoria (50), who has been an integral part of the guest list on the croisette for years.

For the film premiere of Hollywood colleague Tom Cruise (62), the “Desperate Housewives” star chose a shimmering, green evening dress. As she reveals on Instagram, it comes from a collection by the designer label Elie Saab. In addition, Longoria wore matching earrings from the Swiss jewelry manufacturer Chopard. Her brown, wavy hair was loosely put together.

Later in the evening, the 50-year-old changed outfit and took part in another spectacular dress in an evening dinner in Cannes, which took place in honor of women in the film. For the event, she exchanged the emerald green dress for a designer dress glittering in several colors.

Longoria recently revealed that on her very first visit to Cannes she had worn a dress for just under $ 40. In February, she revealed that in 2005 she didn’t really think about what she would wear before her debut at the Croisette and therefore not really spent a lot of money for her Cannes outfit.

“I bought a dress for $ 39 on the Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles because I was told that I would need a dress,” said Longoria. “It looked fantastic and the people asked: ‘Who is this dress from?’ I didn’t know why they asked me about it. ” At that time, the strict dress code was not aware of her when the 30-year-old was not aware of her. According to her own statement, it did not understand “the meaning” of the event.
