Giovanni Arvaneh died. The actor became known primarily through his role in the “Marienhof” series.
The German acting star Giovanni Arvaneh (1964-2025) is dead. He died on May 14 at the age of 61 from the consequences of his long-term cancer. That was announced. To a black and white photo of the actor, it says: “He gave love like other applause-with open arms, from my heart.”
From 1994 to 2010, Arvaneh played the role of Sülo Özgentürk in the ARD series “Marienhof”, which was broadcast from 1992 to 2011. The actor born in Munich also took over roles in series such as “Our Charly”, “Soko 5113” or “St. Angela”. In February 2021, he publicly outlined as a gay as part of the “Actout” initiative. In the summer of 2023 he made his cancer public. Last April he reported to his fans: “I got such nice news for my birthday at Easter and I would love to answer. Unfortunately, I often lack concentration. But all the many beautiful words have arrived deep in my heart.” He also “let go” the hashtag.
“Marienhof” colleague says goodbye to Giovanni Arvaneh
His “Marienhof” colleague Nicole Belstler-Boettcher, she embodied Sandra Behrens, appreciates the actor in a comment under the Instagram post for his death. “My dear Giovanni, when Carsten came from Carsten this morning, I was torn – relief that you have finally had the pain behind you, which has recently given you breath of breathing and despite whom you have still tried to give people good,” she writes. Arvaneh made his peace and “you were ready to go, wanted to go. The last time was only pain and Carsten did everything to relieve him for you – and now the certainty that mankind is now poorer by such an incredibly special person.”

Breaking bathroom
For many, it is the best series of all time and undoubtedly a prime example of the golden television age: “Breaking Bad” tells the story of the steady chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston), who falls ill between 2008 and 2013, and so to finance his costly therapy, he provides with the small criminal Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) Crystal Meth – and rises to one of the most powerful drug producers in the region.

She also describes her colleague with the words: “You gave us so much, left us so much. I know no one who worked as much as you who had such a big heart and always wanted to help. The last year was so incredible. […] You leave an incredibly large gap, dear Giovanni, who can be happy up there. I love you.”
