After Beyoncé, Meghan and Harry also attended a concert by James Taylor. He surprised with gifts for the royal children.
Duchess Meghan (43) apparently enjoys a phase full of music experiences. “In my concert era,” wrote Prince Harry’s wife (40), who shared on Wednesday. Among other things, the recordings show a special moment behind the stage with the legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor (77).
The couple visited the six-time Grammy winner at his concert on Tuesday and was allowed to meet the musician behind the stage. There Taylor caused a special surprise: he signed copies of his children’s book “Sweet Baby James” as a gift. The book, which was published in 2018, is based on Taylor’s album of the same name from 1970 and was inspired by his nephew.
Special gifts for Archie and Lilibet
The sweet gesture was probably intended for the couple’s children. Prince Archie (6) and Princess Lilibet (3) should be happy about the musician’s signed books. Taylor is one of the most influential singer-songwriters of the 1970s and is known for hits like “Fire and Rain”, “You’ve got a friend” and “Carolina in my mind”.
Meghan appeared in a classic naval blade of sweaters and black skirt for the concert, while Harry was seen in the gray t-shirt, gray fishing tone coat, black jeans, black belt and gray hat in the photos.
James Taylor follows after Beyoncé
The duke couple had recently experienced a different concert highlight. On May 9, they visited Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter Tour” appearance at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles. And wrote: “On the last night … Thank you @Beyonce and team for an astonishing concert (and a very entertaining date evening)! All the best.”
In the post, she shared sweet photos of the couple, which enjoys the concert, as well as a video in which Harry Meghan kisses on the cheek. Particularly touching: Harry wore a cowboy hat with a personal dedication for the concert. The names of their two children, Archie and Lili, as well as “My Love” – Harry’s Kosename for Meghan – were engraved on the inside of the hat.
