In 2020, the film star Michael J. Fox, suffering from Parkinson, declared his retreat. Now he has announced an appearance in a comedy series.
Hollywood actor Michael J. Fox (“Back to the future”) returns to the camera for the “Shrinking” series. The 63-year-old, who suffered from Parkinson, will join his acting colleague Harrison Ford and Jason Segel with a guest role in the third season of the comedy series, report the US portals “Deadline”, “People” and “Entertainment Weekly”.
At the age of 29, Fox received a Parkinson’s diagnosis at the age of 29, which he made public seven years later. In 2020 he had declared that he would retire. A year ago, however, he announced that he could imagine the return to the camera for the right role.
The 63-year-old played the young Marty McFly in the “Back to the Future” films in the 1980s. The science fiction trilogy was celebrated worldwide and is now considered a cult. On Instagram, the Hollywood star shared a report on his role in “Shrinking” and received enthusiastic reactions from his fans. Details on his planned role in the AppleTV+series are not yet known.
