2010 compilation “… Featuring Norah Jones” He showed his incredible versatility when collecting his collaborations with artists as diverse as Willie Nelson, Foo Fighters, Outkast and Herbie Hancock.
In 2022, Jones launched his Podcast Norah Jones “Is Playing Along”, which presents sincere conversations and improvised musical collaborations with some of his favorite musicians.
In March 2024 he published his ninth study album “Visions”, a collaboration with the producer and multi-instrumentalist Leon Michels.
The album is a vibrant and cheerful set of 12 songs, which is the Yin and the Yang of what was “Pick Me Up Off the Floor”, the last album of Jones of new songs that was launched at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and that pressed many of the dark things and emotions of that time.
“The reason I called the album ‘Visions’ is because many of the ideas arose in the middle of the night or at that time just before sleeping,” says Jones. “We did most of the songs in the same way: I was on the piano or the guitar and Leon played the drums and we simply touched things. I like the crudeness between Leon and me, the way in which something garage sounds but also something moving, because he comes from there, but not too perfected.”
