After the arrest of Chris Brown: second man charged
US musician Chris Brown is in custody because he is said to have attacked a man in a London nightclub. But the investigators have a second suspect in view.
After the arrest of US singer Chris Brown for a suspected attack in a London nightclub, a second suspect was charged. The 38-year-old US citizen is also accused of serious assault, as the police said in the British capital.
Brown was arrested in a luxury hotel in Manchester on Thursday night. The 36-year-old sits in custody. The R&B artist is accused of attacking another man in a night club in February 2023.
The man had stated that he was injured, kicked and beaten with a bottle. At first there was no statement on the allegations from Brown. A hearing in court is planned in mid -June. According to information from BBC and Sky News, the second defendant should be a rapper.
Brown was with songs like “Run it!” became known, but also noticed due to violent attacks. In 2009, for example, he had attacked his girlfriend, the singer Rihanna, and had been sentenced to probation and social lessons.
