George Clooney has created on Broadway with a reporter of “Fox News” – although only spoken sarcastic.
George Clooney (64) did not try to hide his aversion to the broadcaster and reporter Johnny Belisario. Belisaro had intercepted the actor when he made autographs after his demonstration of “Good Night, and Good Luck” at Broadway in New York.
The sarcastic dialogue between the two did not provide any information, but the mutual disapproval of both parties. So the journalist entered the question directly: “George, why did you wait so long to talk about bidens?” In doing so, Belisaro alluded to the claim that George Clooney knew that former US President Joe Biden (82) dismantled.
No answers, just sarcasm
The background to the question is a new book in which journalists Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson report from bidens mental health. Among other things, the ex-president is said to have not recognized his long-time friend Clooney during a charity event. Clooney has not yet commented on history.
Even now, the actor, who supports the Democrats, did not even come to the question. Instead, he has Jesse Watter’s, the moderator on whose behalf Belisario was on the road: “Grüß Jesse from me, I am a huge fan”, which is obviously meant sarcastically. The mocking dialogue continues with an equally serious compliment to Clooney: “He likes what you did with your hair,” says Belisario on behalf of his moderator.
“He literally trembles!”
Finally, the reporter asks whether Clooney was “used” by ex-President Barack Obama, whereupon the actor looks at the reporter directly, touches him on his arms and asks him: “Why are you so nervous? You trembling!” Finally, he repeats almost incredulously and with a wide grin again in the “Fox” camera: “He literally trembles”, turns his back on the “Fox” employee and goes.
Although the conversation really does not say anything, “Fox” posted the entertainment with the line: “George Clooney under pressure because of silence – his reaction says it all”.
