Lilly Becker: “I pray and meditate often”

Lilly Becker (45) has stated that she believes in God and often prays and meditates. “I’m not afraid of death. I used to be. But the older you get, the more you can deal with it.”

It is important to her that she “hopefully gets to live another 30 or 40 years because my child is still very small and I want to experience everything. I want to see my son grow up and be there for him,” the model continues. She doesn’t even know what it’s like to have parents because she grew up without them, says Becker, who lost her parents in a car accident. “But I had my grandma who took care of me since I was little. I miss her every day and I talk about her often. The pain is there, but you learn to live with it.”

Lilly Becker: “I’m concentrating on myself and my son”

The model is also currently dealing with cancer from a close friend. But despite all the formative experiences, she does not think about possibly getting sick herself. “I concentrate on myself and my son and pay attention to our health,” explains the 45-year-old. She also goes for cancer screening every year, “but I’ve actually never had my breast scanned. I’ve learned how important it is and I’ll do it now in the spring.”

Becker is part of “Showtime of my Life – Stars against Cancer”, which will be broadcast on February 15 and 22 from 8:15 p.m. on VOX (also on RTL +). With the show, 16 stars want to draw attention to the sometimes life-saving check-ups for breast, prostate and testicular cancer. The celebrities strip on the show and want to convey the message: “If we undress in front of an audience of millions, you can do it in front of a doctor.”
