Heinz Hoenig would like to work as an actor soon

There are exhausting months behind Heinz Hoenig. In the spring of 2024, the 73-year-old actor had to go to the hospital for acute heart problems. Bacteria had also damaged its esophagus. After a long time in the intensive care unit-including ops, coma and resuscitation-his wife Annika Kärsten-Hoenig brought her husband home and has been maintaining him there since. She regularly gives the fans of the actor a child -hand update on Instagram. Now came the acting.

When asked when you can finally see him on TV again, Heinz Hoenig replies to the camera: “No idea. I only know that I am now fit for filming again. That I feel good. And that I primarily wish that I will get something good again.” The Hoenig case also caused a stir by the fact that Hoenig was not insured.

He is waiting for good offers, content and “I would like to shoot again,” continues Hoenig. He missed his activity as an actor. “I miss a good script and tasks that I can and want to manage.” To do this, he gets a special compliment from his wife, who apparently films the question and answer session. “For me, you are personally one of the largest and most wonderful actors that Germany has to offer.” The 73-year-old thanks her to her for the loving words.

The 40-year-old Annika Kärsten-Hoenig tells her Instagram community after the question and answer session that her husband is on the best way to “really become self-employed again. He is now moving within the apartment without a means of tools. We are making great progress every day. I am incredibly proud of him.” However, not everything has survived: The “Das Boot” star is still facing another operation on the aorta.

At the end of March, Heinz Hoenig and his wife sealed their love for the second time. The two married Sylt again on the North Sea island. According to RTL, Annika Kärsten-Hoenig planned the second wedding as a surprise for her husband. She also slipped into her wedding dress from 2019 again.
