Color attack on Israeli singer narrowly prevents

Incident at the ESC: During the appearance of Israel in the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, two people tried to storm the stage.
Tumult in the auditorium when Israel’s Yuval Raphael appears: While the interpreter sings her song “New Day Will Rise” in three different languages, there is unrest between the spectators. Two supposed activists had tried to get on the stage. An editor from star Was live on site and described the action as follows: “An alarmpieper was apparently the sign of climbing the barrier. They thrown with red color and hit the passing people. Safety employees were able to overwhelm them and prevent them from storm.” Apparently nobody was injured. There was nothing of the events on TV.

As a representation of one of the five big nations, the British Trio Remember Monday moved directly to the final with the song “What the Hell Just Happened”. The same applies to Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Switzerland is also set as a host country

A man was covered with red color in the ESC color attack
The red color spread on the surrounding spectators. Juha, 45, from Finland was also hit. He had great red spots on his head, the color stretched over his entire jacket.
The organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest confirmed the events. Edi Estermann, Head of Communications of the ESC, to the incident during the show: “At the end of the Israeli appearance, a man and a woman tried to get on the stage. They were stopped. One of the two people threw with color and a member of the crew was hit. The crew member was well and nobody was accompanied by the man and the woman was accompanied and the woman hand over.”
It is not yet known who the two people were, what their intention was and how they could smuggle the color.
