On the side of Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Lawrence can be seen in a new film about a ranging mother. In Cannes, the Hollywood stars share thoughts about their own parents.
Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence shared experiences from her life as a mother of two. The 34-year-old got her second child a few months ago. “Having children changes everything,” she said in Cannes.
“It is brutal and incredible. You don’t just play a role in deciding whether to work where I work, when I work. I didn’t know that I could feel so much. My job has a lot to do with feelings and you opened the world to me.”
Robert Pattinson: Daughter gave me new energy
It almost feels like being an open wound, said Lawrence. “You have changed my life, obviously for the better, and you have changed me creatively. I really recommend having children if you want to become an actor.”
At the Film Festival, Lawrence presents her new film “Die My Love” (directed by Lynne Ramsay). It deals with a mother who lives in a secluded area and struggles with parenting and her role as a wife. Robert Pattinson plays the second main role.
Pattinson (39) also became the father of a daughter a year ago. “Since her birth she has had my way of working,” he said. In a surprising way, she gave him new inspiration and energy, he explained – whereupon Lawrence jokingly asked you in the press conference: “She gave you energy?”
