Zak Starkey has been sitting on drums at “The Who” since the 1990s. So it finally seems over.
The British rock band “The Who” separated from its drummer Zak Starkey – again. After many years of great work, the time for a change came, guitarist Pete Townshend wrote on Instagram. Starkey is working on many new projects. However, the drummer stated that there was no mutual separation.
The 59-year-old son of Beatles icon Ringo Starr had had to leave the band in April, presumably because of a failed concert in London. After a few days, however, reconciliation followed. Now he was fired again, wrote Starkey on Instagram. Although he had other projects, they would not overlap with the work for “The WHO”. He loves the band.
