Journalist: How was casting?
ALBANA FUENTES: It was an open casting like everyone else I did so far and I felt that I had no chance, that although I said open audition I was not going to stay because famous faces are required to convene. It was a big bet of production to make casting and meet an unknown protagonist. I asked what the decision was and it was a genuine desire to find someone, we all left open auditions with the assembly, and the other characters were closed auditions.
Q.: What difference do you have after versions?
AF: I saw Broadway on YouTube, I saw videos of the Brazilian version, a Dutch version, and all are very different and very appropriate to the country of origin. The one here beyond how we talk has our touches but the Argentine is in the coreos. The way in which he incorporated Argentine styles into the little mermaid, for example there are moments of Chacarera, Carnavalito, Malambo, put in the steps and is perfect. It impacts me as we could bring to ours, Argentine.
Pablo Turturiello: It is a very native setting, it has something Rioplatense, this version is very ours. I made last year but I worked in Cooperativa and here there is a structure that allows you to be focused on this work in Cooperativa, one has to be attentive to everything, move the voice.
Q.: What is the challenge of characterization and the character?
AF: It is to proof and error, it never did, nobody knows how it will be built. It has a lot of technical requirement, for example the scenario has steps, the costumes the actions the coreos have to adapt. It requires 8 intense hours 6 days a week. You have to friends with that fantasy world, such as telling the story without losing the truth, I constantly make a undulating movement to be in the water.
PT: The challenge of embodying a Prince of Disney is that everyone knows it then is the public’s pressure, the most critical are the boys, and they have fresh history, so you have to make it authentic and different from so many positions that were made. It is demanding, enjoyable, but you have to be physically healthy to be able to achieve it, I plan to do all the functions although there are boys from the assembly that all the papers are known in case you need replacement.
