Charlotte Waldig: She wants to accept her old surname

With the surname Engelhardt, the moderator Charlotte Waldig (46) has made a name for herself on German TV, presented programs such as “Taff” or “Popstars”. From 2012, however, it was often only perceived as a better half by rapper Sido aka Paul Walstig (44), whose last names she had accepted after the wedding. And when the relationship finally broke up, she was no longer spoken by her in the press as a “wife of”, but as a “ex-wife of”. But that should finally be the end of how she revealed in conversation with Georgina Stumpf.

As soon as she finds the time for it, she wants to “go to the town hall and reclaim my old name,” she says. “My name is Engelhardt again soon.” However, she can get involved in a compromise, at least she rows back: a double name is also conceivable for her.

“Then Charlotte Engelhardt-worthy or worthy-Engelhardt?” Stumpf then asks the obvious question. However, her conversation partner did not (yet) had an answer.

The women have a lot in common: both were together with Sido and have offspring with him. Charlotte Waldig was married to the rapper from 2014 to 2022. The ex-couple has two common sons. Georgina Stumpf’s relationship with Paul Waldig became known at the end of 2022. In October 2024, the influencer announced her pregnancy. Her daughter was born six weeks later.
