The documentary “The Six Billion Dollar Man” celebrates its premiere in Cannes. Julian Assange, whose story is told in it, traveled.

He posed hand in hand with his wife Stella, arm in arm with director Eugene Jarecki and human rights lawyer Jennifer Robinson and producer Kathleen Fournier.

International high-tech thriller
The film, which is created as an international high-tech thriller, uses the privileged access to Wikileaks material and never previously shown to examine the increasingly precarious position of journalists.
How, the film should be shown at the Sundance Film Festival this year. However, he was withdrawn weeks before the festival because Jarecki said that he had to incorporate “significant new and unexpected developments” into the film before releasing him.
“The Six Billion Dollar Man” will celebrate his world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 21 in the Special Screenings section. Jarecki announced: “I am very proud to be able to say that Julian Assange will be on the red carpet.” And further: “He will come together with the President of Ecuador, who granted him asylum at the London embassy. Interestingly, they have never met.”
