Harvey Weinstein: Jessica Mann says again against “Monster”

Jessica Mann (39) returned to the witness stand on May 20 to further testify against Harvey Weinstein (73), like that. The former film mogul is accused of raping the actress. At the time, she begged him, but Weinstein forced herself.

Mann has now reported on another incident that is said to have occurred around nine months after the alleged rape in March. Towards the end of 2013, she was in a relationship with another man. When Weinstein found out that it was an actor, he was angry. Weinstein dragged her into the bedroom, thrown her on a bed and said that she was “guilty” him again.

“It happened so quickly and violently,” said man in tears in court. “I begged him because I didn’t want to have sex with him. He ordered me to do it,” she said. Weinstein tore her pants down and left her scratch traces on her legs. When he disappeared into the bathroom, she said that she should run, but apparently she couldn’t move out of sheer fear.

She could remember his weight on her and that she could hardly breathe. She had become black in black. After she had come to herself, she didn’t know what was going on. “I crawled into the bathroom, got up and saw myself in the mirror, but I didn’t know that I was. I couldn’t recognize myself,” she recalls. You were in a state of shock that Weinstein had “very violently” passed to her.

On the grounds that Mann’s statement had nothing to do with the indictment and the jury would be affected, Weinstein’s lawyer asked the court to hire the procedure. However, the judge rejected the application.

In addition to the alleged rape, Weinstein are also accused of sexual crimes related to film producer Miriam Haley and model Kaja Sokola in the recording process. Weinstein is said to have forced the two women for oral sex. As in the first trial, the 73-year-old denies all accusations raised against him.

The condemnation of the ex-film mogul from 2020 was lifted in April 2024. Before that, the Court of Appeal decided that the judge inadmissibly allowed testimony from other women who had nothing to do with the charges.
