Harvey Weinstein gives an interview from the prison and denies all the allegations from Gwyneth Paltrow. He never touched her.

Hollywood producer Hollywood Weinstein (73), who had fallen unexpectedly, has completed his first camera appearance for eight years in a surprising interview with the right-wing conservative and violent erin Candace Owens (36). In the conversation, the imprisoned film mogul vehement vehemently denied all the allegations directed against him and claims to have been “wrongly convicted”.

“I think women should be heard, but I have been wrongly convicted,” says Weinstein at the beginning of the interview from a prepared explanation. “I made mistakes, there is no doubt. I hurt my family. I hurt my friends. I cheated on my wife, and that was a mistake, a terrible mistake,” he admits, but emphasizes: “But I didn’t commit these crimes.”

Harvey Weinstein fights for accusations of Gwyneth Paltrow vehemently

Weinstein particularly clearly contradicts the allegations of actress Gwyneth Paltrow (52). This claimed that she invited Weinstein to his hotel room after her line -up for the film “Emma” (1996), touched her and suggested a massage. The detained producer describes this representation as a “complete invention”.

He admits that he has “turned on” Paltrow, but denies any physical contact: “At the end of the meeting we had a glass of champagne. When I went out to the door, I said to her: ‘I would like to have a massage of you.’ And she replied with ‘yes’, and I didn’t put my hand on her. ” According to this incident, his relationship with Paltrow continued to be friendly. As proof, he states that Paltrow later mentioned him in acceptance speeches and visited him in the hospital. The break was only created when he rejected a script that Paltrow and her brother had written.

He also contradicts the statement by Rose McGowan

Weinstein also comments on the allegations of Rose McGowan (51). The actress had claimed in a sensational “New York Times” article from 2017 that Weinstein paid her $ 100,000 to silence about rape. Weinstein confirms the payment, but claims that the money has flowed so that McGowan does not talk about his infidelity towards his wife Eve Chilton at the time. “I agreed with Rose McGowan,” says Weinstein. “I gave her $ 100,000 to say … just don’t tell my wife, don’t get me in trouble.”

Harvey Weinstein is on trial and sits in prison

The time of the Weinstein interview is remarkable: it was published, while in New York Weinstein’s new edition of the process is running. He is charged with two cases of “criminal sexual act” and rape. The allegations come from the model Kaja Sokola (39), the film producer Miriam Haley (48) and the actress Jessica Mann (39).

We didn’t know Weinstein’s lawyers of the interview before it was arranged. Juda Engelmayer, a lawyer and spokesman for Weinstein, explained that the legal team has “still active conversations” about whether Weinstein will testify in the process. The public prosecutor is expected to complete its taking of evidence by May 28th.

Weinstein’s original conviction from 2020 was lifted in 2024 because the judge had approved testimonies for allegations that were not part of the case. Weinstein emphasizes this point several times in an interview, apparently to underline his innocence. The former film mogul is still in custody due to a further judgment from Los Angeles.
