“Will do that again”: Sarah Connor wants to go back to the sea in winter

Sarah Connor (44) talked about her life in France in an interview with the “Gala” magazine. In an Instagram posting, the singer revealed last February that she had left the German capital Berlin “after many years” and now lives with her family by the sea. She always dreamed of it and “we love it”. In the interview, the Delmenhorster native said: “I would have enforced it much earlier if I knew it was so beautiful and made me so easy in my heart.”

In particular, the musician appreciates everyday life in France, which became anonymous in nature every day, in nature and can move anonymously, which became her favorite places after a few vacation. Already in August 2024 she wrote in a posting: “France is becoming more and more our second home. The beautiful nature and the sea so close.” In Provence she enjoys anonymity, “my children learn French and I polish up again”. She continued: “People are enchanting, funny, open.”

In conversation with “Gala” she revealed that she was only there for the winter and she would now come back to Germany. “But we’ll do that again.”

Her family includes one husband and manager Florian Fischer (50) and the two common children Delphine (13) and Jax (8). The couple has been married since 2013. She says about her longstanding relationship: “We are always developing. Nothing is a matter of course.” At the same time, she had arrived at a point of her relationship where she was “incredibly quiet and happy”. “For the first time in my life, I think: ‘I can stay here.'” She can heal her deep bonds through this long relationship, which is her “biggest work”.

On the other hand, Connor has two children from marriage to Marc Terenzi (46), Summer (18) and Tyler (21), whose extract they met them “with great force”. “I was very sad and lost for a few months.” But they need the two on their side, just “different”.

The two are now going their own way and have devoted themselves as well as their mother of music. Her son is currently studying in England and her daughter had made her high school diploma with some creative subjects there. She raves about Summer: “She not only has talent, she also has the bite and the discipline.” Connor also makes it clear: “Sometimes people believe it, she has it easier, I pave the way with my career. But of course that’s not the case, I can’t make her successful either. None of us can, but she has to be full of my heart to work hard and share something from herself when she writes songs.”

Fans of Sarah Connor can soon look forward to new music. The album “Freigeistin” will be released on May 23 and is the successor to “Herz Kraft Werke” (2019).
