Lewis Hamilton: So he plans his film career

When working on the film “F1” with Brad Pitt (61), he probably licked blood. Lewis Hamilton (40) wants to get into the film business on a large scale. The racing driver in the run -up to Monaco’s Grand Prix that he works on three scripts. Hamilton not only produces “F1”, but is also in it as he can see himself on the screen.

“I have three concepts on which I work,” said Lewis Hamilton. Since he has never written a film, he works with a professional screenwriter. The ideas come from him, the Briton emphasized. Two of the projects will be animated films. One of them is in the “phase of the first part of the script”, according to the seven -time world champion. “So it’s exciting,” he pushed.

In addition to these three apparently fictional films, according to Hamilton there will also be documentation and “maybe a television series”. But the core business will be films: “I love the development of films – that is what I love the most”.

His production company Dawn Apollo Film founded Lewis Hamilton as early as 2022. In addition to “F1”, which is scheduled to come to German cinemas in June, Dawn Apollo is already working on a documentary about the motorsport career of her founder.

Once it is over, Hamilton wants to concentrate fully on films. And he wants to “be able to get on a similar level as I was used to,” he said in 2022. He is already doing the preparatory work for that.
