The next series is a prequel to the successful IT films that adapted the masterpiece of horror of Stephen King On a small town of Maine that is cursed for the presence of a murderous clown that changes shape and returns to kill a large number of children every 27 years.

Bill Skarsgård’s return how the Pennywise clown
Bill Skarsgård He returns to play Pennywise, the dancer clown, a villain that King fans agreed that the actor embodied perfectly, after initially rejecting the opportunity to continue with the character. In an interview earlier this year, Skarsgård said the television version is “extreme.”
“I felt that I didn’t want anymore,” Skarsgård explained. “Besides, as I was rolling [ Nosferatu ]I thought: ‘Well, this is the end point for my monster papers. But they are Barbara and Andy, and I adore them … and I enjoyed it more than I expected. We were able to explore different facets of the old Pennywise. There are great things that we had not seen. ”
The rest of the cast includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Ado, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe and Rudy Mancuso.
IT: Welcome to Derry will arrive at HBO Max this 2025.
