Dispute with Verena Kerth – Marc Terenzi receives acquittal
Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi announced their separation last summer. Now they saw each other again in front of a court in Hamburg. The process went well for Terenzi.
A dispute between Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi had made headlines nationwide, now there is a judgment on the case: The 46-year-old singer has been acquitted of the accusation of intentional assault on his ex-fiscient Kerth. “We cannot clarify with the necessary security whether this happened,” said magistrate Lena Dammann. Therefore, in this case it is: in Dubio Pro Reo, in doubt for the accused.
The public prosecutor and the defense had also called for an acquittal. The trial took place before the St. Georg District Court.

The relationship between the two had repeatedly got into the headlines and was described as “toxic”. According to the indictment, the 46-year-old should “beat his fiance Verena Kerth at the time of alcohol in St. Georg on August 22, 2023 under the influence of alcohol in St. Georg and dragged over the floor through the hotel room. The 42-year-old injured party is said to have suffered abrades on the elbows and knees as well as a torn fingernail. In court, police officers, an acquaintance and Kerth expressed themselves.
Terenzi started his career as a singer of the Boygroup Natural. From 2004 to 2010 the American was married to pop singer Sarah Connor, the two have two children together.
The former “RTL jungle king” and Kerth came together in 2022. In January 2023, Terenzi made the moderator, who even at “I’m a star – get me out of here!” had participated in the RTL program a marriage proposal. In July 2024 the two announced their separation.
