His wife is “very, very brave” and refuses to go into victims. “That’s exactly what I admire about her.” As a couple, they would try to live with the disease at the moment without submitting to her. “We are doing well in accordance with the circumstances. We don’t shout hooray here, but we don’t arise either,” says Aminati.

The 30-year-old has been fighting a malignant melanoma, better known as black skin cancer for around two years. In the meantime, several metastases have been discovered. In the interview with “Der Zeit”, she said at the beginning of May that she was in “Cancer stage 4” and that her cancer was “no longer curable”.

The couple has been married since 2022 and has a common daughter who was born before the cancer diagnosis.
