Aubrey Plaza has completed her first Red Carpet appearance since her husband’s death. In Cannes she showed herself with Margaret Qualley.
Aubrey Plaza (40) has shown itself on the red carpet in Cannes for the first time since the death of her husband Jeff Baena (1977-2025). The actress posed together with her co-stars Margaret Qualley (30) and Charlie Day (49) as well as director Ethan Coen (67) at the world premiere of her new film “Honey Don’t!” On the croisette.
Plaza shone in the special appearance in a nude -colored dress occupied with sparkling gemstones. The transparent ensemble revealed a suitable corset underneath. The actress completed her look with subtle make-up and diamond earrings.
Co-star Margaret Quiety, who in “Honey Don’t!” The main role, posed in addition to the 40-year-old in a Chanel robe in Nudeton and Ballerinas. Apparently she also made Plaza emotional support: on several photos you can see how the two hold each other on their hands and keep looking in the eyes and smiling back.
Husband Jeff Baena died in January
Jeff Baena, Plaza’s husband since 2021 and long -time partner, died on January 3., 2025 at the age of 47, died by suicide. He was known as a maker of films such as “Life After Beth” or “The Little Hours”, in which Plaza also participated. In March it became known that Plaza and Baena had separated a few months before his death.
