His new work is about a group of former prisoners who unplanned the agent who presumably tortured them in an Iranian prison. One of the torture victims randomly sees the secret agent and kidnapped him on his bus with the aim of avenging and killing him.

Road trip with a serious topic and humorous moments

The award ceremony of the 78th Film Festival took place as planned after there was a larger power failure in Cannes on Saturday.

The Berliner Mascha Schilinski won the prize of the jury for her drama “look into the sun”, which she shares with Oliver Laxe for his film “Sirât”.

The jury’s great prize, the second most important award of the festival, went to “Sentimental Value” by Joachim Trier.

Kleber Mendonça Filho received the prize for the best director for “O Secreto Agente”. BI GAN received a special prize for the jury for “Resurrection”. The prize as the best actress went to Nadia Melliti for her role in “La Petite Dernière”.

Wagner Moura was awarded the best actor for his role in “O Secreto Agente” by Kleber Mendonça Filho. For the best script, Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne were awarded “Jeunes Mères”.
