After “Let’s Dance” victory: Diego Pooth is planning that now

The show gene seems to have been given to Diego Pooth (21) as the son of TV icon Verona Pooth (57). As a new winner of the RTL program “Let’s Dance”, many doors should finally be open to him in the show business. But the student apparently has completely different plans for now.

Despite his dance success, he first wants to complete his studies and further expand his start-up to further extension supplements. The 21-year-old studies product management in Berlin.

But right after his victory on May 23, everyday life is out of the question. Because the next day he first jetted to the south of France with his girlfriend Louisa Büscher (23). “Tomorrow my girlfriend and I have the anniversary and we fly on a short vacation. I promised her because she had had to do without me so much lately,” Diego Pooth told “Bild” on Friday. At the invitation of designer Philipp Plein (47), the young couple flew to Cannes to open the store. It was a very nice event, the 21-year-old later let you know. That is a “crazy world”, because “that’s not normal”.

It went crazy for the freshly baked “Dancing Star 2025”: After arriving in Cologne, he completed TV appearances on “Stern TV” on Sunday evening and at “Point 6” on Monday morning.

And then on May 26th, his loved ones will also be on honor. “Happy birthday, my darling. Love yourself more than anything,” wrote Pooth to a couple picture. The declaration of love after his “Let’s Dance” victory is very special, because so far he has kept his girlfriend out of the public. In her first TV interview, which she gave RTL, she raved from the trip to Cannes: “It’s incredible. Really, so great. I feel like a princess in the land of milk and hire.” In addition, she praised her successful partner with the words: “To be honest, I was briefly speechless because I couldn’t realize it at all, but of course I burst with pride, and I’m super happy. You did it so incredibly well!”

Diego Pooth not only sent his girlfriend warm words. In an Instagram post, he thanked the audience after his victory and “Let’s Dance” colleagues. Dance partner Ekaterina Leonova (38) let him know: “Without you, my heart, I would not have done this way.”

With the “Dancing Star” title, Diego Pooth crowns his previous career in the show business, which for him began at the side of his mother. But the 21-year-old also rely on his own projects. He started a golf career in Florida, where he graduated from the “IMG” elite sports academy in 2023. Then he moved to Berlin. In addition to his studies, he earns money as a model. In February 2024 he ran for Philipp Plein at the Milan Fashion Week.
