Nazan Eckes: She raves about single life in Mallorca

For moderator Nazan Eckes (49), life has recently slowed down – and changed noticeably. In an interview with the magazine “Gala”. In it, the TV star also announced that he now emigrated to the Spanish Balearic Island of Mallorca. There she live in the north together with her ex-husband Julian Khol (45) and her children Lounis (10) and Ilyas (8).

“We educate after the nest model. The boys have the base in this house. Sometimes they are here with their dad, sometimes with the mom – and we still spend a lot of time for four on weekends, birthdays or public holidays in the finca,” says Eckes. Then you even live together.

In general, her “balance shifted” in Mallorca. At her former place of residence in Cologne, on the other hand, her goal was to “quickly get from A to B and work through to-do lists”. Incidentally, Eckes does not currently have a new partner at her side, which apparently does not particularly mind: “It is absolutely okay to be just single. If love comes, I won’t hide either.” At the moment, however, their attention is only due to their boys and on their own, according to Eckes.

Nazan Eckes was initially married to the advertising entrepreneur Claus Eckes from 2000 to 2007, whose name she still has in public. After this childless marriage, she married the Austrian painter Julian Khol in 2012, with whom she became a mother of two. It was not until 2022 that both separated a long time ago.

The daughter of Turkish immigrants has been working primarily for the private broadcaster RTL since 1999 and moderated numerous shows and programs such as the examples “Let’s Dance”, “Explosive – The Magazine”, “Point 12”, “Deutschland sucht the Superstar” or “Stern TV”. In addition, she already took part in “Let’s Dance” as a candidate and was also a juror at “Das Supertalent”.
