Sarah Jessica Parker is the face of “Sex and the City” and “And Just Like That …”. But she never completely seen the series herself.
Sarah Jessica Parker (60) particularly know serial fans as Carrie Bradshaw. So far, the actress herself has apparently rarely seen herself in the role. she revealed that she never fully followed “Sex and the City” and “and just like that …”. “Oh my god, no. I don’t see it, never saw it,” said Parker about the “SATC” offshoot and admitted: “I never saw ‘Sex and the City’, at least hardly any of it.”
So she is not alone in her family: according to the actress, her twins Tabitha and Marion (15) are not yet familiar with the series. Her son James Wilkie (22) also doesn’t quite know her. He had “started at the premiere of ‘and Just Like That …’, then he started looking at the series, but school work got in his way”.
No pressure for your children
Sarah Jessica Parker does not want to put pressure on her children to look at the series. Something else is more important for them. “Above all, I want you to remember me as a parent,” she said. “But maybe one day you will find a way to look at it and feel good with what you see.” According to her, it was “a completely different way to see a parent”.
The actress has been a mother since 2002. With her husband, Matthew Broderick (63), she initially received son James. Her mutual twin daughters were born around seven years later by surrogate. Already in 1998 she celebrated her “SATC” debut as a Carrie. Their, Mirandas (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlottes (Kristin Davis) story tells “and just like that …” since 2021. One end is not yet in sight: on May 30th, the third season in Germany starts on Sky and via the streaming service WoW.
