Report: Divorce for Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness
In 2023, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced that after 27 years of before their paths would separate. Now one of the two pulls the line – and submits the divorce.
The Australian pair of actors Hugh Jackman (56) and Deborra-Lee Furness (69) faces marriage. FURNESS submitted a divorce in New York, reported U.S. media, and referred to court documents. Both sides would have agreed in details, now only one judge has to agree, reported the “TMZ.com” celebrity. Further details, for example about financial agreements between two -time parents, were not known.
The couple announced their separation in September 2023. They were blessed with having shared a “wonderful, loving marriage” for almost three decades, it said at the time in a joint explanation. But now they had decided to separate to pursue their “individual” path.
The Australian actors met in 1995 while filming the “Correlli” television series. They married in April 1996. The couple adopted two children, son Oscar, now 25 years old, and daughter Ava (19).
Jackman was most recently seen along the side of Ryan Reynolds in the Marvel blockbuster “Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024). The Hollywood star is currently on stage with the concert series “From New York, with Love” in the New York Radio City Music Hall.
