Nico Santos feels at home in these places
Pop singer Nico Santos has lived in Mallorca for 20 years – but now he also feels at home in a big city. A topic that also deals musically.
He was born in Bremen, grew up in Mallorca and now also lives in Berlin: pop singer Nico Santos (32) is reluctant to determine where he feels at home. “I lived in Mallorca 20 years. But five years before I move to Germany, I felt that Mallorca was too small for this large, wide music world in which I wanted to dive into. I then questioned whether Mallorca was really my home,” said Santos of the German Press Agency.
In the meantime, he also feels more than at home in Berlin. “The beautiful knowledge is now that I have two places where I feel comfortable and on which my family is. Because we live in Berlin and Mallorca and both feel at home.”
The second part comes 10 years after “home”
On his current single “Home Pt. 2”, the songwriter deals with the question of what home means for him. The song appeared ten years after Santos’ first chart hit “Home” and acts from the “grown up Nico”, who now has a family and is always happy to come home.
