Why the Bushido children find their dad embarrassed
The children of Bushido think that is not possible in the songs from dad: that is not possible. The rapper defends his songs and vocabulary.
Even children of rappers sometimes find their father embarrassing – at least Bushido has had this experience. The reason: lyrics with strength expressions such as “son of a bitch” or words like “Your mother is a hooker”. “Of course they are embarrassed when they hear that,” says Bushido of the German Press Agency. “Then scold me: ‘Oh dad, ey, that doesn’t work at all.'”
Some texts by the rapper, who is called Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi with a bourgeois name, were criticized as women hostile, discriminatory or homophobic. Today he wouldn’t sing something like that.
Bushido defends his rap and plans his end of his career
“I don’t know when I last used gay in a lyrics. I think you have to go back for many years,” says the 46-year-old, but also defends his previous choice of words.
“It is rap! If I used ‘gay’ or whatever, it was part of my vocabulary at the time,” he says. “I’m not homophobic, I have never been.” He has gays friends and of course does not see them as inferior.
In the coming year, Bushido wants to end his musician career and say goodbye to his fans on a last tour. Ten concerts are planned under the motto “Everything will be good”, as well as five additional dates for which the pre -sale on Friday (May 30th) begins.
